Holy Trinity, Dacre

Built in 1837 and situated in Dacre Banks, Holy Trinity is part of the Church of England Parish of ‘Dacre with Hartwith and Darley with Thornthwaite’, and is a Church of all ages, with a morning congregation of 40 - 60  including the young people of Junior Church.

The Junior Church meet at the Village Hall in Dacre Banks from about 9:15am (to allow parents to get to the church for the 9:30am service) for the first half of the service and we rejoin one another at the Peace to share in Holy Communion. We hope that the occasion is relaxed and welcoming, with a traditional format, and also a small robed choir.

The Church meets at Holy Trinity at 9.30am on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, and for Evensong at 6.30pm on the third Sunday [see SERVICES ]. There is also MORNING and EVENING prayer most weekdays at 9.00am and 6.00pm, and a mid-week Said HOLY COMMUNION at 9.30am on Wednesdays - to all of which you are very welcome. More than this we are happy that the building is open for you each day between ‘dawn’ and ‘dusk’, for private prayer or quiet - do please enjoy it.

The church building is very accessible, and is provided with a Loop and sound-enhancement system. WELCOME ~ do please contact us if you have any questions or enquiries.
